GENERAL DEFECTS

For all breeds of fowls for which points must be deducted according to the severity of the defect.

(Except where the Breed Standard specifically allows otherwise)

FACE:

Less than 1/4 red in breeds with white earlobes.

Less than 1/4 white in breeds with red earlobes.

Coarseness (Indian Games and Malays excepted).

COMB:

PLUMAGE:

Brassiness where not excessive in white, silver pencilled, barred and mottled plumage.

Feathers and fluff either too loose or too tight as the case may be for the breed concerned.

Slightly twisted hackle (Frizzles excepted).

BODY:

Round in back.

Signs of excessive fat.

Slightly dented or slightly crooked breast-bone.

Slightly pendulous crop.

Slightly sagging abdomen.

TAIL:

Squirrel Tail.

Split or divided tail feathers.

Badly twisted feathers in tail.

High tail in excess.
